This is a wheelchair accessible trail that is not paved. It follows the path of a flume from gold mining days. This is a six mile trail that cannot be hiked in six miles since the trailhead is in the middle.

| From Hwy 49 in Nevada City, continue north west on Hwy 49 for about 8 miles to the trailhead parking area on the right side of the road. Hwy 49 makes a sharp left turn as you leave Nevada City (Hwy 20 goes straight at this point). If you reach the bridge over the South Yuba River, you went too far. |
